Facts for dog owners
What is known, what is not, and what to ask your vet.
Plain-words guides on dog injuries, surgery recovery and the new peptide trend. Every claim links to its source. Nothing here gives doses or promises a result.

Every finding gets one of four labels.
Peptide claims for dogs run far ahead of the research. Each guide marks where a finding sits so you can see how strong it is before you read the story attached to it.

- StrongestControlled dog trial
Dogs split into groups, with a comparison group. Example: the ELHLD peptide trial after TPLO surgery.
- LimitedSafety study in dogs
Tests whether a compound is tolerated in healthy dogs. It says nothing about healing. Example: BPC-157 in beagles.
- WeakVet or owner report
One dog or a few, with other care happening at the same time. Cannot show what caused a recovery.
- Not dog dataRodent or lab work
Rats, mice and cell studies. Interesting, and not proof for dogs.

Our rules for every guide.
These apply to every page on this site and to the main site too.
If a claim has no link, it does not run. Seller pages are marked as sellers.
We do not say what to give a dog, and we do not say a product fixes a problem.
Puptide publishes this site and may earn when you start a plan. That line sits at the top of every page.
